Congratulations to the voted winner Kidsorted and runner-up Zana, as well as FinCompare that already wowed a jury during our special FinTech competition.
They will all present their ventures on the main stage of our upcoming NOAH Conference in London on 30-31 October.

KIDSORTED is the little Black Book for your Family. Our vision is to be the world’s largest technology platform for kids’ activities and services. We build the technology to allow anyone to create, promote, find and book experiences and services that enrich children’s lives.  KIDSORTED is a hybrid of marketplace and SaaS. Parents can find and book activities & services for their children based on postcode, age and interest search. For providers, we offer marketing and booking functionality.

Julia Brucher, Founder & CEO
Julia has extensive e-commerce, marketplaces and digital marketing experience. She was previously Head of Marketing EMEA at Stella & Dot, led the eBay Fashion Outlet for UK and Germany, launched the first E-Commerce Online Store of the Middle East, Boutique1.com (Dubai based multi-brand luxury fashion retailer), and was Managing Director at Mythresa.com (bought by Neiman Marcus):

Zana – an intelligent and interactive assistant in the medical domain – understands in real-time through natural language dialog the information need of the user, then responds with concise information and product recommendations. Monetisation succeeds through advertisement and commission-based sales of health products at Zana Marketplace.
Zana is available at any time on mobile or computer via a Web portal, messaging platform (Facebook Messenger) or smart speakers like Amazon Alexa.

Julia Hoxha, Co-Founder & CEO
Dr. -Ing. Julia Hoxha: former postdoctoral research scientist in Medical Informatics at Columbia University, and former research associate at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Author of numerous scientific publications on the intersection of machine learning, recommender systems, and semantic technologies.
Co-founded and led as CTO the software development company ShqiperiaCom; co-founder & senior advisor of the Albanian Institute of Science; founder of MyOffice’Al.

Fintech Competition Winner – Powered by Visa

FinCompare is the new marketplace for corporate financing and a digital broker for small and medium sized enterprises (SME) requiring financing needs. Through the online platform www.fincompare.de, the start-up enables access to various financing solutions. Companies can find, compare and close Germany-wide offers from renowned banks, fintechs and financial service providers. Besides the usual corporate loans, FinCompare stands out with a selection of alternative financing solutions.

Stephan Heller, Founder & CEO
Stephan Heller is the founder and managing director of FinCompare GmbH, a fast-growing online platform for SME financing. Before he founded Watchmaster in 2015, where he led the European trading platform for new and used luxury watches for a year as CEO, thus shaping the digital transformation of the watch market. Previously, Stephan worked for Groupon, most recently from 2013 to 2015 as Head of Merchant Marketing in London. Further career assignments were as investment analyst at the investment company Waterland and as management consultant at the global strategy consultancy Roland Berger. Stephan Heller also worked for BMW in Tokyo and for UBS in London and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication science from the University of Vienna and a master’s degree in international management from ESCP Europe in Paris, London and Berlin.
